With the first light of the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel by comfortable air-conditioned vans at scheduled pick-up time and transferred to the office where you will have a light breakfast.
While pilots are run a final check on the wind speed and direction at different altitudes to determine the best take-off site, you enjoy a light breakfast before you are transferred to the take-off site.
Once the take-off site has been determined by pilots and the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority has given permission to fly, you will be transferred to the take-off site, to witness the inflation process of balloons.
Duration of the flight is minimum one hour and then some… and pilots do their utmost to make it one of the most memorable hour of your life. From your pick-up at the hotel through to drop-off, time equals approximately three hours; depending on your hotel’s location and the time of year, you will usually be back before 8.00am and will comfortably be able to join a daily excursion.
To keep the long-lived tradition of a champagne toast alive after a hot air balloon ride, the crew and you will celebrate the successful completion of their hot-air-balloon flight with a glass of champagne upon landing. Afterwards, you will be awarded a participation medal as a memento from your balloon adventure.
Sadly, everything that has a beginning has an end. But the good news that at the end of the flight, you will have a wonderful ballooning story that needs to be heard. Once the champagne toast is done, you will be dropped off at your hotel by comfortable air-conditioned vans.
