With the first light of the morning, passengers will be picked up from their hotels by our comfortable air-conditioned vans at their scheduled pick-up time and transferred our office.
While our pilots are run a final check on the wind speed and direction at different altitudes to determine the best take-off site, passengers enjoy a light breakfast before they are transffered to the take-off site.
Once the take-off site has been determined by our pilots and the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority has given permission to fly, all passengers will be transferred to the take-off site, to witness the inflation process of balloons.
Duration of the flight is minimum one and half hour and then some… and our pilots do their utmost to make it one of the most memorable hours of your life. From your pick-up at the hotel through to drop-off, time equals approximately three hours; depending on your hotel’s location and the time of year, you will usually be back before 9.00am and will comfortably be able to join a daily excursion.
To keep the long-lived tradition of a champagne toast alive after a hot air balloon ride, the crew and passengers will celebrate the successful completion of their hot-air-balloon flight with a glass of champagne upon landing. Afterwards, passengers will be awarded a participation medal as a memento from their balloon adventure.
Sadly, everything that has a beginning has an end. But the good news that at the end of the flight, you will have a wonderful ballooning story that needs to be heard. Once the champagne toast is done, passengers will be dropped off at their hotel by our comfortable air-conditioned vans.
