Because Soğanlı Valley is a more exclusive flight zone, you will enjoy a serene atmosphere in the sky, away from the heavy balloon traffic of other areas.
The experience includes approximately 60 minutes in the air, offering panoramic visibility and incredible photo opportunities. From your basket, you can take in the sweeping valleys, steep cliffs, and traditional fairy chimneys that define this authentic part of the Cappadocia landscape.

Preparation and Safety Briefing
Watch the balloon being prepared while the crew completes the final checks. Before boarding, you will receive a short safety briefing and landing instructions.
Sunrise Balloon Flight
Enjoy an approximately 60-minute flight over Soganli Valley’s rock formations, traditional villages and open countryside. The route and views vary according to the wind direction.
Landing Celebration and Return
After landing, enjoy a champagne celebration and receive your commemorative flight certificate. You will then be transferred back to your hotel.

Important Notes
Booking and Payment
- A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking.

The remaining balance is required to be paid in cash on the day of the flight in EUR, TRY or USD.

The remaining balance can also be paid by credit card, subject to a 10% surcharge on the outstanding amount.
Cancellation and Weather
- Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the flight date. For cancellations made within 48 hours of the flight, the full booking cost will apply.
- If the flight is cancelled due to bad weather, a full refund will be provided, or the flight can be rescheduled for the next day, subject to availability.
Hotel Transfers
- Pick-up and drop-off are included from centrally located hotels and accommodation addresses in Cappadocia.
- Your exact pick-up time will be confirmed the day before the flight.
Passenger Requirements
- Children under 5 years old are not permitted to participate.
- Pregnant guests are not permitted to participate.

Soganli has its own flight area and may experience different local weather conditions from Göreme. Flights may sometimes operate there when Göreme flights cannot, but operation is not guaranteed.
Are hotel transfers included with the Soganli Valley Flight?
Yes. Round-trip transfers are included from hotels in Göreme, Ürgüp, Uçhisar, Avanos, Çavuşin and Ortahisar. Soganli is farther from central Cappadocia, so the experience includes a longer transfer time.

I have no fault of this experience from pick up to drop off it was professionally and enjoyably... done. The staff were fun and friendly. The pilot was talented and added some fun aspects shadows on rock faces, commentary etc. It can be a bit daunting to spend this much on an experience but this is one of those that are really worth it. A once in a lifetime experience. Its also the one that friends at home are most interested in.read more
