Standard Balloon Flight
Experience Cappadocia from above on a Standard Hot Air Balloon Flight in the scenic Göreme flight area. This bucket-list flight takes place at sunrise in a shared basket with a capacity of up to 28 passengers, offering approximately 60 minutes in the air. During the ride, you will admire sweeping views of fairy chimneys, deep valleys, and distinctive rock formations, together with the spectacular sight of hundreds of colorful balloons filling the morning sky.
The Standard Flight is designed specifically for travelers who want the full Göreme balloon experience at a more accessible price. Compared with the Comfort Flight, the main difference is the number of passengers sharing the basket; however, the approximate flight duration remains exactly the same. Because the launch point, flight route, altitude, and landing area are determined entirely by the wind, every single flight offers a completely different perspective of Cappadocia.
What to Expect
Pre-Flight Preparation
Enjoy a light breakfast while the crew prepares and inflates the balloon. Before boarding, the pilot will explain the safety procedures and landing position.
Sunrise Flight
Take off at sunrise for an approximately 60-minute flight over Cappadocia. Depending on the wind, the balloon may glide close to the rock formations or rise higher for panoramic views. The route and landing location vary each day.
Landing Celebration and Return
After landing, celebrate with a traditional champagne toast and receive a commemorative flight certificate before being transferred back to your hotel.

Important Notes
Booking and Payment
- A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking.

The remaining balance is required to be paid in cash on the day of the flight in EUR, TRY or USD.

The remaining balance can also be paid by credit card, subject to a 10% surcharge on the outstanding amount.
Cancellation and Weather
- Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the flight date. For cancellations made within 48 hours of the flight, the full booking cost will apply.
- If the flight is cancelled due to bad weather, a full refund will be provided, or the flight can be rescheduled for the next day, subject to availability.
Hotel Transfers
- Pick-up and drop-off are included from centrally located hotels and accommodation addresses in Cappadocia.
- Your exact pick-up time will be confirmed the day before the flight.
Passenger Requirements
- Children under 5 years old are not permitted to participate.
- Pregnant guests are not permitted to participate.

I have no fault of this experience from pick up to drop off it was professionally and enjoyably... done. The staff were fun and friendly. The pilot was talented and added some fun aspects shadows on rock faces, commentary etc. It can be a bit daunting to spend this much on an experience but this is one of those that are really worth it. A once in a lifetime experience. Its also the one that friends at home are most interested in.read more
