Experience the region at its most atmospheric on a guided Cappadocia sunset horse riding tour through its distinctive volcanic landscape. Follow scenic natural trails past fairy chimneys and sculpted rock formations while the colours of the landscape change with the evening light.
The route and sunset stop are selected on the day according to weather, trail conditions, group pace and rider safety, allowing the guides to provide the most suitable experience available. Along the way, there will be opportunities to enjoy the scenery and take memorable photographs from horseback.
The experience is suitable for both first-time and experienced riders. Before departure, your guide will provide a safety briefing, explain the basic riding controls and match each participant with an appropriate horse. What to Expect
Meet Your Horse and Guide
At the ranch, you will meet your local trail guide and be matched with a suitable horse according to your height, weight and previous riding experience.
Safety Briefing and Riding Instructions
Your guide will explain the basic riding controls, trail rules and safety procedures before departure. No previous horseback riding experience is required.
Begin the Scenic Trail Ride
Set out on natural trails through Cappadocia’s volcanic landscape, surrounded by sculpted rock formations, fairy chimneys and wide panoramic scenery.
Explore the Evening Landscape
Continue through changing terrain as the evening light brings out the colours and textures of the surrounding landscape. The pace is managed by the guide for the comfort and safety of the group.
Ride Toward the Sunset Viewpoint
Follow the route selected for the day toward a suitable sunset viewpoint. The exact trail and stopping point may change according to weather, trail conditions and rider safety.
Watch the Sunset
Pause at a suitable location to enjoy the sunset and take photographs before beginning the return ride. The duration of the stop depends on seasonal conditions and the pace of the group.
Return to the Ranch and Hotel
After approximately two hours of horseback riding, return to the ranch and take the included transfer back to your hotel.

Payment
- A 30% deposit payment is required at the time of booking.
- The remaining balance required to be paid in cash on the day of the tour.

- Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the tour date.
- In case of late cancellation or no-show, the full booking cost will apply.

Riding Requirements
- No previous horseback-riding experience is required.
- Participants must be at least 14 years old.
- Children under 14 are not permitted to join the tour.
- The maximum permitted weight is 95 kg per rider.
- The tour is not suitable for pregnant travellers or guests with serious back problems.

What to Wear
- Comfortable clothing and closed shoes suitable for horseback riding are recommended.
- Temperatures may fall quickly after sunset, so bringing an extra layer is recommended outside the summer months.

The ranch assigns a suitable horse based on your height, weight and previous riding experience. Participants do not normally select their own horses.
Can I ride without a guide?
No. All horseback rides are accompanied by a local trail guide for safety.
What should I wear?

I have no fault of this experience from pick up to drop off it was professionally and enjoyably... done. The staff were fun and friendly. The pilot was talented and added some fun aspects shadows on rock faces, commentary etc. It can be a bit daunting to spend this much on an experience but this is one of those that are really worth it.
